Midyear Practicum Journey 2022

  FINALIZATION (LAST WEEK OF OJT)                   In this phase, we submitted the final video to Mr. Montealegre for him to critique. Suggestions and revisions happen in this phase.

 EDITING PHASE (4TH WEEK OF OJT)         First, we organized the clips. We trimmed unnecessary scenes in every clip, and arrange the series of clips according to the flow of the promotional video.         We had a minor problem in the middle of our editing phase but we manage to fix it.          After fixing the problem, we started to combine the clean clips and finalize the flow of the video and add some effects,  transitions, background music, and voice-over.

 PROMOTIONAL VIDEO SHOOTING (3RD WEEK OF OJT)         After finalizing the flow of the promotional video, we instructed our co-student trainee who will become the actor/s in the promotional video. During this phase or week, we started filming the clips that we will be needing for the promotional video.           For better results, my Multi-Media Production partner Mr. Gegajo learned how to use the gimbal and other filming tools at BU Open University. 

  ENHANCEMENT TRAINING 2022 (2ND WEEK OF OJT)          We are assigned to help our co-student trainee to design the the backdrop and invitation for the enhancement training 2022 that will be held on Aug 03-05, 2022. We matched the theme color to the Official theme color of Bicol University for formality. We finished the initial draft within that day. I am so happy to experience this kind of work because I feel that I am being productive. I also like the atmosphere at Bicol University. It is very student friendly place, they are very accommodating and very easily to approach. I had fun working with them.

  BRAINSTORMING AND PLANNING (1ST WEEK OF OJT)          We 've been given the task of creating a promotional video for Bicol University Open University as part of the Multi-Media Production Team. We need to learn how to use the equipment in the facilities at the BU Open University. The BUOU already has a promotional video, therefore we need to think of a fresh idea and develop it in a more original approach. Mr. Gegajo is my coworker in the multi-media production, and together we brainstorm ways to complete the task on schedule and create a timeline to help us meet the deadline. We decide to concentrate on filming clips throughout the first, second, and third week of our OJT so that after we finish the clips, we can focus on editing.

  BLOCK C MIDYEAR PRACTICUM ORIENTATION JULY 06, 2022 BICOL UNIVERSITY LIBRARY         We had our face to face midyear practicum orientation on July 06, 2022 at the 3rd floor of the Bicol University Library. Sir Rollie N. Montealegre as our OJT Faculty Adviser discusses the requirements we need to submit before he deploys us to the offices we are going to undertake our practicum.                In order for us to experience a real work environment, Sir Rollie N. Montealegre also said that he would be assigning us to various offices at Bicol University. He also gave us the option to select the field in which we are most interested.
